Namdev, the Tailor-Saint

Namdev, a thirteenth- and fourteenth-century saint-poet of the tailor (shimpi) community, composed abhangs in Marathi and is also honoured in the Sikh tradition, with several of his hymns included in the Guru Granth Sahib.
